There is a great need for language teachers across New York State. This information session is for students majoring in Spanish and French. We will provide information on the Accelerated Pathway program that leads to a bachelor's and master's (BA/MAT) degrees and preparation for initial and professional teacher certification to teach Spanish or French in middle and high schools. Persons who already possess an undergraduate degree in Spanish/French, or an equivalent, are also welcomed to attend to learn about the Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree which leads to initial and professional teacher certification.
