    Register For Your Campus Visit

     


    The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued  new guidance on Sunday, March 15,
    recommending that in-person events consisting of 50 people or more,
    anywhere in the United States, should be cancelled or postponed.

    Consistent with that guidance and Governor Andrew Cuomo’s directive issued, SUNY New Paltz has decided to
    extend the cancellation of all on-campus events.  We are now offering virtual options below.

     

     

    We've gone virtual!

    The Office of Undergraduate Admission is pleased to inform you that we are now accepting registrations for one of our Virtual Appointments. The staff is eager to answer your admission questions. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation with instructions on how to start your appointment. View our calendar and register for an appointment below.


    Freshman Virtual Appointments
    The Freshman Admission Staff is pleased to invite you to register for a virtual one-on-one discussion with one of our Freshman Admission Counselors. Our virtual visits take place every Monday, Wednesday, & Friday.

    Transfer Virtual Appointments
    The Transfer Admission Staff is pleased to invite you to register for a virtual one-on-one discussion with one of our Transfer Admission Counselors. Our virtual visits take place every Tuesday and Thursday.

    Virtual Tour
    Enjoy a campus tour from the comfort of your own home. Please join us on a journey through our campus. Explore the SUNY New Paltz campus in a fully immersive virtual 360-degree experience. Tour our academic buildings, visit the Sojourner Truth Library, go into the Student Union, and explore our residence halls, the dining facilities, and much more.

     


    Self-Guided Tours 
    Instead of touring with other visitors, a prospective student may pick up a Self-Guided tour booklet from a mounted box located outside of our Hopfer Admission Center, and tour campus on your own. Our tour booklet contains a suggested tour route and descriptions of our buildings and features.  
     
    We invite you to take a self-guided tour, however, if you feel ill or believe that you may have been exposed to someone that has the coronavirus, we would ask you to postpone your visit. We ask that you observe these measures for your own health as well as the health and well-being of our campus community. 
     
    Visitors are asked to follow standard safety measures, such as frequent hand washing. Our custodial staff as well as the admission staff are taking numerous measures to protect the safety and well-being of everyone on our campus. 



    Campus Visit Information

    If you are an accepted student and you are having trouble scheduling with us, please email campustours@newpaltz.edu.

    Participation – All students under the age of 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    Visiting a Department – Campus visits are general in nature. If you wish to see specific facilities or speak to faculty from a particular department, you can make arrangements by contacting the department directly. Please use our department directory for individual department contact information. 

    Special Accommodations – If you or a member of your party require special accommodations, please call us ahead of time at (845) 257-3688 so we can better assist you.

    Cancellations – To make a cancellation or a change to an existing registration please email campustours@newpaltz.edu and include your name, phone number and the change you would like to make to your registration. You can also call our office at (845) 257-3688 and make cancellations or changes over the phone.
