    We offer several types of campus visits to fit your needs!
    Please select the visit type that works best for you and use the calendar below to register for your preferred date and time.

    Please note: If you are a school or organization looking to bring a group of students for a Group Visit, do not register here. Instead, please follow the instructions on our Group Visit Page to submit your visit request. 

    1. General Campus Tour 

    • For: Prospective students and their guests
    • When? Mondays through Thursdays during the semester and summer months.
    • Duration: 90 minute tour
    • Description: A guided walk around our beautiful campus with a Student Ambassador. Get a current student's perspective and have your questions answered. 
    • Bonus: At the end of your tour an Admission Advisor will be available to answer any of your questions regarding the application and enrollment process. 

    2. General Information Session & Campus Tour

    • For: Prospective students and their guests
    • When? Fridays & Saturdays (during the semester)
    • Duration: 30-minute presentation, 90-minute tour
    • Description: You will begin your visit with a 30-minute presentation from a member of our Undergraduate Admission Staff before heading out on a guided walk around our beautiful campus with a Student Ambassador. Get a current student's perspective and have your questions answered.
    • Bonus: At the end of your tour an Admission Advisor will be available to answer any of your questions regarding the application and enrollment process. 

    3. Transfer Student General Information Session & Campus Tour 

    • For: Prospective transfer students and their guests
    • When? Friday, October 2nd at 12:30pm and Friday, November 20th at 12:30pm
    • Duration: 30-minute presentation, 90-minute tour
    • Description: You will begin your visit with a 30-minute presentation from a member of our Undergraduate Admission Staff before heading out on a guided walk around our beautiful campus with a Student Ambassador. Get a current student's perspective and have your questions answered.
    • Bonus: At the end of your tour an Admission Advisor will be available to answer any of your questions regarding the application and enrollment process.

    Other things to know:

    • Visiting a Department – Campus visits are general in nature. If you wish to see specific facilities or speak to faculty from a particular department, you can make arrangements by contacting the department directly. Please use our department directory for individual department contact information. 
    • Accessibility – Please note this is a 90-minute walking tour. If you or a member of your party requires special accommodations, please email us at campustours@newpaltz.edu so we can better assist you.
    • Cancelations – To cancel or make a change to your registration for a tour, please email campustours@newpaltz.edu and include your name, phone number and the change you would like to make.
    • Accepted Students – If you are an accepted student and are having trouble scheduling your visit, or if you have any additional questions regarding your visit, please email campustours@newpaltz.edu.
